Why I Quit The Gym And Found Another Way To Get Strong

Most of us if we admit it when we think about getting strong, fit and healthy think of the gym, or running, but what if you don’t like to do those things? It means you are pretty limited. However, we are here to tell you today it’s not the only option and here is why.

Is going to the gym the most effective thing to do to lose weight?

Some think it is the ONLY efficient way to do it but is it?

It may well be an effective way to do it, but if it is not enjoyable you are not going to stick at it

AND THAT is what we want at the end of the day

To stick to something, right?

You don’t want to stop and start, cause that sucks

I got to a point in my training where I hated the gym

I had just finished competing and was out the other side of it, and I just saw it as a chore

Having to get into the gym every day, was borning, I started to hate it and resent it

I did not like to look at myself in the mirror, and I just found it boring and mundane the whole sets and reps SNORE

So I looked outside the box, I decided that I would do something else

Something I enjoyed

That is when I went and studies Martial Arts

It changed my body shape sure, but I enjoyed it, it was something I looked forward to getting up and doing

It challenged me, and I learned a lot of other valuable life lessons while on the mats working on all the disciplines

You see it does not matter what you do, just that you do something

Here are some ideas for you to choose from, but this list does not stop there.

You see, it does not matter what you do. Everything works as long as you are consistent and persistent at that thing.
As long as your body is moving, within its abilities, and you are having a good time and getting a little bit out of breath, it does not matter.

Powerlifting

Home DVD’s
Sports
Swimming
Step Aerobics
Mountain biking
Snowboarding
ANYTHING

The only thing that matters is that

It is simple for you to do with no barriers to doing it
It is something you ENJOY to do

Hit those 2, and you will be able to stick to something
