Life can be pretty stressful at times as we never really know or understand the impact of this. It only becomes a problem when we cannot lose weight.
Well today we are very very lucky to be joined by Kathy McCarthy who specialises in such hormones!
Kathy has agreed to join us for a 2 part series into hormones. This week we are going to be looking at STRESS HORMONES and how they effect our weight loss.
Kathy McCarthy has worked in the health and fitness for over 25 years (she does not look old enough to!)
Starting as an Exercise to Music instructor aged 20, she went on to do a Sports Science degree and has worked in the industry ever since as a PT and nutrition coach.
Over the years Kathy has studied for many certifications – notably with the ACSM and is a Precision Nutrition Level 2 certified coach, but more recently has turned to studying all about hormones and hormonal changes as being in her 40s was experiencing this first hand!
Kathy is a Qualified Women’s Wellness specialist ( includes Menopause, Osteoporosis, pelvic floor health and Breast cancer rehab) , 3rd Age woman instructor ( perk to post menopause) , and an expert in Women’s Health and Hormonal issues – a Women’s Wellness Warrior!
She is passionate about helping women understand both the changes that are happening and supporting them to make lifestyle choices to enable them to thrive into their 40s and beyond.
Kathy does admit a weakness for drinking wine and champagne, and love my family, the great outdoors with horses and dogs
